Riyo is a 17 year old chuunin from a three person household in Hidden Leaf. She passed her genin exam at the age of 12 and advanced to chuunin at 16. She's bashful and gets bored easily. Her mother is a single parent who takes care of her grandmother and also works hard. Riyo is childlike and sweet, wanting to have fun whenever possible. With a 4D like personality she is able to display an array of behaviors. Def: 4D is the ability to go not only up, down, left, or right, but *across*. very multi-faceted; having more than one layer to their personality.


Powers

Creativity: With typical things that genin and chuunin learn she uses them as a combined technique., cycling through different skills, discovering and looking for ways to use them that are not of the norm.

Speed: Quick on feet although sometimes slow to react. Once started can maneuver briskly.

Rather Empathetic: Can Usually tell how someone is really feeling without them saying how they feel. If it’s someone she is familiar with being one way most of the time, Riyo can see through the mask they put on to detour others from how they really feel. This is considered a minor power.

Perceptive: When someone comes around, Riyo at times is alerted to this way too far in advance. This is due to her anxiousness and uncertainty of how to interact with people. So most of the time she senses them way too far in advance and works on how to interact with them in her mind along time before they near her. This is a minor power.




Flaws

Procrastination: Even when it is something that she wants to do, if it is hard or requires a lot of planning or time, is slow and will not go directly to it. Whatever it is left undone until the decision to confront it is made.

Functions poorly without 8+ hours of sleep: Her sleeping hours mimic that of lion. If allowed to, may sleep for fifteen hours. Although functional, with six hours, she is sluggish and/or moody. Two hours, you can just forget about it. You will have a person who will not wake up despite being called.

Scared easily: Unexplained sounds, sights, and things which appear out of nowhere easily make her loose her nerve. Thinking about scary thoughts lower her performance, but increase her reaction time.

Unconfident: Feelings of standing out for the wrong reasons. When doing errands feels vulnerable and intimidated at times.





Ages
4-5: During these days Riyo was not afraid to dance in front of people. Being small you can do a lot of things that won't look bad cause of your size. ‘Mommy’ was her most used word. Very talkative.

6-8: Riyo is pampered by her grandparents. Them buying and making her food at her every wish. They spent more time together, being it she would stay over their house when her mother had to go to work. Riyo became more acquainted with many of her family members, as they would come over and visit her grandparents. Is very shy. Has a hard confronting even some of her family members whom she’s seen a lot.

9-10: Running and playing were an important part of entertainment - It was all she wanted to do! Oh, and avoiding homework! Riyo had a posse of friends and her acquaintances were growing (if she liked it or not). The teachers she had received for the first time at the academy scared her, as well as being on her case for a few hours a day, but this melts away when she became used to the ritual. Her first encounters with bullies happened here. She began to become conscious of being taller than a lot of the kids in her class.

PRE-SHIPPUDEN
12-13: Put on a new team. Being used to being picked out, she automatically assumes that she will not be liked. She tries to act like her teammates when trying to talk to them - Come across as ‘cool’. Everyone that she hung out with in academy stopped talking to her. Either it was from not seeking to associate further or something ridiculous. Only one remains (Sela Minohara). Without meaning to she gravitates toward her grumpy teacher. He’s the only protection she has when in these situations away from home with the team. The sensei repeatedly takes advantage of a her running speed instructing her to get him whatever he thinks of on a given moment. All in all she is building up trust with the bunch.


SHIPPUDEN/PART 1
16 Riyo makes more of an effort to do things like cleaning, and cooking, holding herself more responsible. Blaming things on her mom makes her look bad she realized. She is not physically at the same level as some chuunin around her age - this kind of bothers her leading her to mope. Individuality is beginning to become more evident. Since she is out of academy, those days are slowly pulling away from her, and she is seeing all that social stuff doesn’t matter anymore. Riyo is more of a risk taker. Not avoiding things that make her feel afraid or anxious quite as much. She knows she is annoying and even aggravating sometimes. When she feels she wants to complain she will hold her tongue. The same goes with whining. Although, she falters when emotions win. Chasing after her teammates’ approval isn’t so important to her. Acting like them is definitely out of the question. She embraces good experiences with them, and would jump to help any of them anytime, but there is no connection friend wise. At least that is what she suspects. Sadly to become a better person she had to let go of one thing she tried hard to hold onto, Sela. (A good friend for many years). They parted on good terms, and the two run into one another every blue moon, but the lifestyle Sela had picked up was too much, and she couldn’t take feeling useless and forgotten.

-Where she toggles between techniques at rapid. From substitution justu, clones, whatever.
Kankaku no Gasu (Sensory Gas)
-A weapon that was created by Riyo that involves the mixing of nasty, nasty ingredients. The ingredients usually contain lemon juice, ammonia, and water. It is contained in small, ball like object that explodes upon impact after pressing a button, releasing fumes that cause puking, inability to open and/or running eyes, feel of faintness. But it really depends on the patron. Tsunade had asked that she be informed of each time a new one is created in case legal issues may follow, as well to use them only if she gives permission to.

Toxic Clones (Yūdokuna kurōn)
-A spin off from Sensory Gas where user may combine chakra with that of the solution to create an identical copy of self which can be detonated on queue.
Sora tobu supaidā (Flying Spider)
    -Concentrates chakra to sole of feet which then are pushed off from which increase her speed greatly.

17: Learns new jutsu ///Tamashī no fukusei (Soul Replicate )///in which she performs kicks and punching maneuvers; which cast florescent mimics fist and kicks outward.  

-Later on works on how to make the technique harder to detect by the eye. Also how to control the size of the projected fist and feet.


Extras:
-Doesn’t like to show her legs or her upper arms because is insecure she might be too thin.
-Doesn’t like to wear tops above her buttocks.
-Doesn’t like getting hit on by guys because she has no experience in how to handle this.
-Doesn’t like wearing clothes that insinuate her looks most of the time because experiences have attracted the wrong type of attention.
-Doesn’t want anyone to feel as bad as she feels.

-Is very cautious though friendly when engaging in pleasant conversations with strangers.  This is because she doesn’t know if they want to become friends or if they are just using her to pass time.
